A hand-crafted animated celebration of the Brazilian activist Marielle Franco.

We worked frame-by-frame, drawing over her image as she walked in the streets of a favela describing the continued oppression of favelados in Brazil, we drew our gestures on and around her smiling face, and with each mark we traced over videos of Brazilians protesting her assassination with marches and dance, we felt closer and closer to their cause, and to her story.
